Logical Shift
A downloadable game for Windows and Android
In Logical Shift, you control a scientist who has just finished her masterpiece: objects that can defy gravity! These "gravity blocks" are scattered throughout each level, and you'll need to cleverly redirect their gravity to reach the exit. Gravity shifts affect every block in a level simultaneously, so plan ahead and consider each level as a whole to succeed.
Logical Shift offers a unique twist to the "gravity puzzle" subgenre. Traditionally, the player can alter their own gravity and walk on walls and ceilings. In this game, the scientist is bound by normal gravity, so instead you will need to rearrange the environment to suit her limited mobility.
This is perhaps my most extendable game prototype. I've drafted many mechanics besides the gravity blocks themselves, and in combination these can produce a wide variety of challenges. I hope to revisit this prototype in the future and develop it into a fully-featured product.
You may notice social media buttons while playing. These are included as a proof-of-concept for the prototype; Logical Shift does not currently support social media connection.
